Venture into the Warhammer 40K universe, the grimdark future envisioned by Games Workshop, in the newly announced Warhammer 40K: Eternal Crusade, developed by Behaviour Interactive. The game, described on Massively as "a third-person action MMORPG set in a persistent world" will be developed for the PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
The Pokemon world evolves October 12th with the worldwide release of Pokemon X, Y. Nintendo's long-running series will make the transition to the 3DS with a host of new features, including the addition of a new Pokemon type and the Nintendogs-esque "Pokemon-amie" feature. Hugh Jackman's The Wolverine may not be the biggest summer superhero flick, what with the likes of Iron Man 3 and Man of Steel to contend with, but with more of the film's finer details coming to light, The Wolverine might be worth a closer look. IndieWire uncovered an interview with director James Mangold (Walk the Line, 3:10 to Yuma) in Entertainment Weekly where he teases the role of Famke Janssen's Jean Grey in the film.
Nintendo's new console will have to make do without recent Capcom releases such as Resident Evil 6, Street Fighter X Tekken, and Okami HD. On the Capcom Unity blog, senior VP Christian Svensson stated: "With regard to the Wii U, in general we're looking forward, not back so late ports are generally not on the table."
All games have a limited lifetime, but some games live longer thanks to multiplayer support. Unfortunately, for many multiplayer games, those servers are eventually taken down. Starting Jan. 3, EA is shutting down the servers for several titles.
